Freshman admissions

Applicants have to submit the documents given below:

Documents required:

  • Official high school transcript: If the transcript is not in English then the official translated transcript is required.
  • Artist’s statement: Applicants are required to submit an essay in 250-500 words. Applicants have to write about why university enrolls them in the program and applicants can tell about their self and their work with the help of essay.
  • Letter of recommendation: One letter of recommendation is required from a professional or by an instructor. It should contain the applicant’s full name and date of birth.
  • Portfolio: Applicants are required to give 10-15 best and recent work. Applicants can also show their skills and interests through the portfolio.
  • ACT and SAT test scores are required. Applicants graduated from high school 2 or more years ago don’t have to submit the test scores.

Transfer admissions

It is essential for students to take care of the following requirements before applying as transfer applicants:

  • Only 60 credits can be transferred from the previous institution, which may include up to 30 studio elective credits.
  • Students must complete prerequisite credits from a recognized University/College with a minimum of C grade.
  • Applicants holding a Bachelor’s degree are allowed to transfer a maximum of 81 credits, including 36 studio elective credits

Note: Transfer applicants who want to exempt from admission test requirement must have taken a minimum of 12 liberal arts credit including 6 credits of college-level essay writing or English, and receiving grades of "C" or greater.
