Elms College was founded in 1897 by the sisters of St. Joseph and the Diocese of Springfield. In 1927 the college was originally established as a liberal arts college which then throughout the 1940s and 1950s expanded its curriculum. Elms college ranked 83 in regional universities north, with a very selective acceptance rate of 79%. It is one of the best places to study in the USA. A total of 1,151 students are enrolled currently for the various programs offered by the College. The male and female sex ratio is 75% and 25%. In fall 2019 a total of 1,531 students got enrolled as they cleared all the eligible criteria. If an individual meets the eligibility criteria laid out as per the University then getting enrolled is like a cakewalk.

Elms College provides various undergraduate and graduate programs in accounting, BA, MBA, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, etc in more than 50 majors which also includes arts, sociology, music, engineering, creative writing, design, data analytics, sports management, etc.

Elms College International Student Admission

The admission process for International and domestic students differ with some additional requirements that an international student has to fulfill.

International students are required to give a proof of English proficiency along with their high school certificates in which they should have a secured grade or percentage to be eligible to apply. The applicant has to provide various documents and his/her IELTS or TOEFL scores along with SAT and ACT scores, if the applicant clears the eligibility criteria then he/she can apply for various courses offered by the College.

Visa Process for International Students

When the students receive their application letter from the College, they can apply for a student visa ( F1 visa) to study in the USA. An I-20 form will be received by the student if his/her application gets approved. After the completion of the admission process, the student can obtain his/her I-20 form via FedEx. Students can ask any questions regarding their I-20 form from the Elms College office:

After the submission of the completed I-20 form and $200 enrollment deposit, students can arrange an interview with the nearest US embassy. After a successful visa interview, an F1 visa is issued to the student.
