Campus

  • Located in University circle, Cleveland, Ohio, the university is spread across 2 acres of lush land
  • The college entails a total of 105 conservatory faculty and 47 preparatory faculty;
  • It is known for organizing up to 600 concerts and virtual fests every year.
  • The campus is situated amidst various tourist attractions such as the Cleveland Museum of art, the Cleveland botanical garden, the western reserve historical society etc
  • The campus is located in close proximity of 15 miles from the Cleveland Hopkins international airport

Housing Facilities/Residence

For the first time since its foundation, the institute is set to have an on-campus housing building from 2020 session, which will be a 5 story building comprising of 22 practice rooms, 2 floors dedicated to the residence of first and second years, and the other 2 floors for the upper class and graduates on a rental basis.

The facilities provided will include in-suite bathrooms, wifi, kitchen and laundry facilities, exercise studios etc

The campus is surrounded by various rental accommodation facilities that are usually rented by the graduates. Hassler road, little Italy, Coventry and Cleveland Heights are some of the frequently chosen accommodations;

The campus houses a lot of eateries and their own dining halls which can be accessed by the students through their respective meal plans of the year.

Scholarships/Financial Aid

International students are offered various options of availing financial aid in the form of grants, awards and scholarships to study in the USA. About 100% of students receive some form of financial aid from the college. The average need based scholarship offered to students is USD 27,152.

CIM grant: students who fulfill the financial aid FAFSA OR CSS PROFILE application and fulfil requirements of the application, students with acute financial need are eligible for such a scholarship

CIM institutional scholarship: the basic requirement is the filling up of the application form. It is a merit based scholarship that takes into consideration the test scores and ranks of the applicant. the dean’s approval is mandatory for availing

Graduate assistantships: the institute offers this to a selected number of students in exchange for taking up responsibilities within the institution. Eligible for students in specific major programs like piano, conducting and orchestral conducting only

Work-study: this is available for students with financial need and those who fulfil the requirements of the application form of financial aid. The students must register for jobs at the HR department of the institution; NOTE: the income will be chargeable to tax

  • Financial aid and scholarships to other students include the FAFSA scholarship, the CIM grant, Federal grant, pell grant which is available only to students of the origin country
