With the acceptance rate of 69%, Presbyterian College invites applications every year for its Fall, Summer, and Spring sessions. Its selective admission process is done on a rolling basis. The college registered 1016 total enrollment during 2017-18. Primarily famous for B.A. and B.S degrees in 30 courses of study and 9 pre-professional programs, the college confers a student faculty ratio of 12:1. In recent years, 100% of their students have participated in either an internship, research, or a study abroad program. 

In the light of COVID-19, Presbyterian College has decided to continue its undergraduate program remotely through the semester session. While for the Fall semester they are planning to re-open the campus. The Admission Office is working remotely, and they are accepting enrollment deposits even though the deadline was June 01.

Presbyterian College Admission Deadlines

Presbyterian College accepts international applications throughout the year. Due to the COVID-19 situation, it has extended its application deposit deadline to June 01. However, for freshman students, the application deadline is set as per Early, Regular, or Rolling-basis decision. There are no such deadlines for application submission. Tuition payment of Fall Semester is due in Mid-August, and for the Spring semester is due in Mid-December.

Presbyterian College International Admissions

Presbyterian College accepts international applications twice a year i.e. during Fall and Spring semesters. However, the applications are accepted throughout the year and are reviewed daily. Admission to international applicants is given on a rolling basis. The admission decision is declared within two weeks of application acceptance. Candidates can choose any one online portal to apply for admission.

  • International applicants can choose to submit their standardized test scores of ACT/SAT.However, it is preferred if they decide to submit one of these scores. Your application won’t be rejected due to the absence of a standardized test score. 
  • The college offers three intensive English programs for those applicants who want to improve their English skills.
  • Presbyterian College offers conditional acceptance for International students where in case a student has met academic qualifications yet failed to meet English language scores, the applicant can still receive Form I-20 with conditional acceptance. However, once the English scores are achieved from an alternate language instruction academy, Form I-20 needs to be gathered from there.

The application requirements are the same for international and domestic applicants except for some additional requirements.

Visa Process for International Students

Once the application is accepted the college will send the I-20 or DS-2019 form within two weeks of acceptance. Candidates must fill-up the form and pay the SEVIS fees. Following that they must then schedule their visa interview at the local US Embassy and bring along the following documents:

  • Letter of Acceptance
  • I-20 or DS-2019 form
  • Documents of financial support
  • SEVIS fees receipt[4]

Presbyterian College Undergraduate Admission

Undergraduate applicants can apply for Fall, Summer, and Spring semesters. Admission is given on a rolling basis. Applicants can select test-optional on the application to avoid submitting SAT or ACT scores. Those who opt for a test-optional application must submit the short answer questions. Presbyterian College, USA offers Pre-pharmacy courses. Apart from the generic requirements for admissions given in the guidelines, additional requirements for the courses are:

Academic Requirements

  • Each candidate must have completed specific sets of pre-pharmacy courses to be considered for the course
  • Pre-Pharmacy GPA of 2.75 or higher

Presbyterian College, USA Physician Assistant Studies

Presbyterian College, USA offers physician assistant courses that are very competitive. Certain specific requirements need to be met by all the applicants by July 31st to be considered for admission.

  • A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited University from the US with Science and an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • GRE in the last five years.
  • Applicants are required to have a minimum of 250 hours of observing or participating in delivering healthcare services in a clinical environment.
  • Three references:
    • A licensed healthcare practitioner.
    • A university professor or similar
    • Any other professional with similar work experience.
