After completing my 12th I decided to study abroad for my bachelors, I applied to a few universities for admission, and luckily, I got an acceptance letter from Saint Michael's College, this college was offered loads of great facility academically and otherwise. I applied for the course through a common application form that cost me up to $50.
Course Curriculum :
My course is primarily concerned with discovering new knowledge, with strong foundations in theory and selected application domains. The field is the basis for software engineering, just as chemistry forms the basis for chemical engineering or physics the basis for electrical engineering.
As I wanted to pursue engineering, I looked for the universities that provided well-equipped, exceptional instrumentation, and hands-on experience beginning in the freshman year and then I finally came across this university and applied to it. So, when I received the offer letter from the university I immediately joined it. I applied here through the common application form for $50.
Course Curriculum :
Alongside our training in a specific engineering discipline, we obtain a foundation in the liberal arts which will provide us with a broader perspective on the world. The curriculum aims to produce engineers who are not only highly trained in their fields, but who are also knowledgeable and concerned about the wider impact of their work.
After graduation, I was at a College Fair held by our University, for students who wanted to pursue their post-graduation studies from abroad. It was at one of such conferences where I saw a representative from Saint Michael's College. He identified himself as an alumnus of the Clinical Psychology Department. The panache with which he spoke and the eloquence which he showcased was a completely overawing experience for me. After he provided all the students with a brochure mentioning the critical dates for admission, I went home logged into the device and started applying for the college. I filled out the online application form and submitted all the necessary documents. Little did I expect that I would finally get a call from the college. But with God's grace, I did secure the opportunity to study in the college.
Course Curriculum :
With an advanced emphasis on understanding the social and cultural mindset of people, our clinical psychology course focused on the humanistic aspect of feelings and emotions prevalent in human beings. We developed the reasoning skills essential for conducting the psychology counseling sessions, through the study of Psychopharmacological Agents and Physiological Psychology. In the midst of our degree program, we had to cover topics on an independent study of psychoanalytic behavior and understand the marital and family therapy lessons, which again taught us the importance of societal change in human behavior.
With a dream to study economics, and yet with no feasible plan on how to turn my dream into reality, I too was spending some anxious days post my Boards results. Although I had secured 94% marks with 96 in Economics, I was completely unsure whether I would be able to secure a chance in a good college in the USA. While browsing through Youtube on one of those idle evenings, I found out about Saint Michael's College. The short clip which I saw about the college and its existing infrastructure blew my mind away and in a fit of excitement I opened up the admission portal of the college. I was very relieved to find out that two more days were left for filling up the online application form and submitting it with a $50 application fee. In consultation with my parents, I filled up all the details and submitted it through the designated portal. After waiting almost a month with increased anxiousness, I finally got a call from the college to appear for a skype interview with the administrative authorities.
Course Curriculum :
Through the courses offered to me at the college, I learnt the market structure, monetary variables and the seismic shifts that take place in a business environment when proper economic tools are implemented in order to ascertain whether the business is developing and growing or not. I was able to develop the ability to comprehend how the two significant schools of Economic thought- Classical and Keynesian had impacted the global market scenario for centuries. This knowledge was very helpful for me as in the future I was able to imply it while optimizing the correct composition of risk and stability a venture must show in order to flourish.
My sister was doing her job in Vermont. And it was decided that'll pursue my bachelor's degree in the USA. So it was more convenient for me that I stay with her. She discussed with her local colleagues and got to know about this college. I applied here through common application and their application fee was $50.
