    Vanguard University is a private Christian university that is regarded as the “Best in the West” by everyone. The college is famous for liberal arts and professional studies in Southern California. With a great mission to empower education and holistic spirituality, Vanguard University offers more than 30 undergraduate programs, 6 graduate programs and 6 professional programs through 14 academic departments.

    The university had an acceptance rate of 49% in Fall 2019 which indicates that the admission process is highly selective. There are 2,175 students at the university comprising 2,083 undergraduate enrollments and 255 graduate enrollments. The student population has 88% full-time attendees and 12% part-time students.

    Before applying students must take note of the following:

    • Vanguard University accepts applications for the Fall, Spring, and Summer seasons.
    • International students can apply during the Fall and Spring semesters only.
    • It is advised to start the application process earlier due to competition.
    • Only complete applications are considered so applicants must carefully check that all requirements are duly met.
    • Students who do not meet the minimum GPA score may be admitted on a provisional basis. Under this status, students will be placed in the first semester but they must get a minimum GPA of 2.0 to proceed to the second semester or they will have to discontinue.

    • GRE scores are not required for admission to any graduate programs.

    Vanguard University International Student Admissions

    The Vanguard University enrolls a student on a selective method. The University encourages Christian students interested in exploring education through Christian faith and living. The application process for both domestic and international students is similar. However, international students have to submit some extra documents for admission.

    English Proficiency Test Score for International Students

    Non-native English speakers should take the English proficiency test. The candidate should submit TOEFL scores to fulfill this requirement. The minimum score requirements are as follows:

    Visa Process for International Students

    International students seeking admission to the Vanguard University must apply for an F-1 or J-1 student visa. Students can apply for a visa after receiving the I-20 Certificate of Eligibility from the university. The following documents are required to apply for a visa:

    • International students have to submit their I-20 form
    • The students within the U.S should submit I-94 copies for student visas.

    Vanguard University offers graduate programs in six different fields such as Clinical Psychology, Nursing, Education, Organizational Psychology, Theology, and Leadership Studies. The university accepts students in three seasons: fall, spring, and summer. International students should submit all the required documents as soon as possible.
