Millikin University International Students Admissions

The overall admission process for international students is the same as that of US applicants. However, international students are required to meet some of the additional requirements.

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • Official transcript/ Official copy of secondary school diploma/ All academic records including previous academic record/ Higher secondary and secondary school transcripts/ mark sheets mailed from previously attended university/ institution.
  • Photocopy of passport
  • One-page essay written personally by the student mentioning the educational objectives
  • Certification of finances
  • 2 LORs either in English or translated into English/ One letter from either guidance counsellor, headmaster or teacher
  • One page of personal statement including educational background, objectives, and plans.
  • For candidates who have applied for admission must fulfil the following requirements:
    • ACT score of 23 and above
    • SAT score of 1080
    • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to 4.0 in the last two years of their previously attended program.
    • Proof of English proficiency for non-native English speakers is must including TOEFL, IELTS, etc.
    • Official Financial Statement form completely filled by the sponsor as well as the original bank statement/ letter stating amounts in US dollars containing original signatures on both forms

All international applicants must mandatorily submit their TOEFL and IELTS scores to demonstrate their English proficiency. The minimum requirement scores laid by the university are mentioned below which is as follows:

Visa Process for International Students

International applicants will be issued Form I-20 from the university after they have successfully completed the admission requirements. The following documents must be provided in order to receive the Form I-20:

  • Complete the I-20 form and pay the SEVIS-F1 fee of 500 USD.
