Nichols College Programs, Campus, and Residence

Programs

Nichols College offers admission into associate, bachelor, graduate and certificate programs to the students. 

  • The college offers two undergraduate degree programs including Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in various streams or majors such as Economics, Finance, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communication, Criminal Justice, etc.
  • The college also offers many minor options. By adding a minor, students can complement their concentration or major with additional viewpoints and marketable skills that can help them in becoming leaders of tomorrow.
  • The college offers graduate master degree programs with options of studying the program online or on-campus as per the student’s choice. The college offers MBA, MSA, MSOL, MSC and Dual degree options for students. 

Campus

  • Nichols College is a 200 acres campus located in south-central Massachusetts, a small rural community in New England. The college maintains 33 buildings and structures including the resident halls, administrative buildings, academic buildings, etc. 
  • The heart of Nichols’ campus life is the Fels Student Center where all the members of the Student clubs and organizations meet. Also, there are trading rooms that offer dual-monitor workstations for many classes and student projects.

Residence

  • More than 85% of Nichols’ students live on campus in 10 residential communities at the college.
  • The college offers traditional rooms in and co-ed residence halls, suite-style living and modern apartments, besides many other living options to choose from.
  • Budleigh Hall, Center Hall, Shamie Hall, Olsen Hall, Remillard Hall, Kuppenheimer Hall, Winston Hall among many others are the types of residence halls that a student can choose for his/her stay.
  • The largest among all the residence halls on campus are Shamie Hall which can accommodate more than 330 students. Each of the three floors has common lounge areas, study rooms, and laundry rooms for the convenience of the students.

Application: International students can complete their application online through the college’s website.

Application Deadline: The College accepts applications throughout the year however, international students are advised to complete and submit their applications by 25th June.

All resident students must have a meal plan. A Commuter Meal Plan is also available to them.

Types of meal plans:

  • The Unlimited Meal Plan- This meal plan is for all first-year resident students and with an option for upperclassmen. The students will get $150 Bison Bucks per semester which they can spend at any of the campus’ retail dining venues.
  • Copper Beech Plan- Upperclassmen living in the Copper Beech Apartments can enjoy 90 meals per semester which can be used while dine-in at Lombard Dining Hall and $300 Bison Bucks per semester will be given that can be used at the campus retail dining venues.
  • The Ten Meal Plan- It is available to any upperclassmen allowing then to 10 meals per week in Lombard Dining Hall and $250 Bison Bucks for the semester.

Nichols College Financial Aid

Nichols College offers various scholarships, grants, and awards to full-time students who need financial aid and showcase strong a track record of academic performance. International students can also look for external scholarships for international students in the USA. 

International students are only eligible for merit-based scholarships awarded by the college. The merit-based scholarships are fully renewable. Students are required to have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. To continue the scholarship, students must also continue full-time completing 12 credit hours or more per semester.
