Dean College International Admissions

Dean College has international students from more than 26 countries representing 10% of the college student body. The international applicants can apply through the Common Application or Dean College Application Page.

Admission Requirements

  • All the applicants should have all the academic transcripts of their previous qualifications.

  • English Proficiency scores
  • Proof of Financial support- Financial Information can be given in one of two ways:
    • Submit an official bank letter or
    • Complete the Certification of Finances form.

English Proficiency Test Score Requirements

The Dean College accepts standardized scores of the following tests for English language requirements-

  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
  • Pearson Test of English
  • Cambridge Assessment of English
  • ITEP
  • GTEC
  • Password

The College also offers English Language Proficiency FOCUS program for students who do not meet the minimum requirements of test scores for English Proficiency.

Visa Process for International Students

All the International students who want to study at the Dean College have to apply for F-1 visa (or DS-2019). A student has to receive Form I-20 from the College in order to apply for F-1 Visa. For this, a student needs to submit the following documents at the College-

  • Valid Passport
  • Financial Information
  • Enrollment Deposit

After obtaining the Form I-20 from the College, the applicant needs to complete the I-20 and pay the SEVIS I-901 fee.
