Programs

With a 15:1 student-faculty ratio, Midland University is a student-centric university emphasizing one-on-one learning where one can choose from over 30 majors for Undergraduate and 4 graduate programs.

  • The programs mainly focusing on liberal arts, the university provides undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Business Administration and many other courses as well.

Campus

On the outskirts of the Omaha metro area, the Midland University campus of 33 acres is situated in a semi-urban area of Fremont. This amazing location of the university blends the comfort of a small town with large opportunities. The university campus is home to:

Residence

Due to the cozy campus of the institution, Students love to reside on campus. More than 60% of the students reside on campus and learn in an active environment. But students can also opt for off-campus student housing to stay in the US. The college has separate halls for individual year students and the staff member is available 24/7 for each residential hall.

  • First-Year Traditional Halls
    • Men’s memorial hall- As the name suggests, this is a male-only residential hall with three floors, TV lounge, community kitchen, computer and internet access and proximity to volleyball and basketball courts
    • Benton Hall- Female only residential hall with three floors, 2 TV lounges, community kitchen, Computer, and internet access
    • Beegle Hall- The co-ed residential hall with four floors, TV lounge, Community kitchen, computer and internet access
  • Second Year Traditional Halls
    • Gunderson Hall- This hall is again co-ed residential hall with five floors and have all amenities like other halls with proximity to volleyball and basketball courts
    • Augustine Hall- Co-ed residential hall with two floors, community kitchen, TV lounge, computer and internet access. Also, the hall is connected with the midland dining hall
  • Apartment-style residence
    • Atchison and Lund- This residence facility is available for both juniors and seniors. Located directly on campus with full kitchen amenities, Full living and dining rooms, washer and dryer, Cable television and wireless internet.
    • Olson village- In addition to all the facilities like Atchison and Lund, these apartments have an outdoor balcony and these are close to Fremont YMCA.

Admission Process

To take admission to Midland University, the first step is to fill the application form online on the official website of Midland University. Then submit your ACT scores and high school transcript and finally contact your Admission counselor for any sort of doubts.

Application Requirements: - When applying as an international student for any undergraduate or graduate course, you need to comply with the following requirements:

  • Official transcripts and degrees from all the schools and/or colleges you attend and the credits must be translated to English

According to the university, over 98% of full-time students receive more than USD 14,000 in university scholarship schemes. When I decide to visit Midland University I was very excited to take a tour of the campus. From the tour, I got to know more about the university. And it answered all my questions about college life. I also met with my admission counselor. He told me about financial aid, scholarship opportunities, student loans, etc. After this briefing, I decided to take admission in the university.


Course Curriculum - 

This curriculum is designed to prepare me for a professional career in the field of law enforcement and criminal justice. At Midland, I am getting prepared for entry-level positions in criminal justice agencies like probation and parole, corrections, juvenile diversion, and law enforcement. Following the completion of the course, I will have the tools for continuing personal and professional growth to face new challenges and to recognize and take advantage of new opportunities in the field of my interest.
