Admission Requirements

  • Official transcripts of previously attended educational institutions. 
  • International applicants have to submit their English proficiency test scores.
  • All the students need to appear for MCAT.
  • The average GPA required is 3.80.
  • Complete the Computer-Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics (CASPer Test).

UTMB offers international students various scholarships tostudy in the USA. The scholarship applications are available only through the UTMB email address. Applications will be accepted through MySTAR account.

  • A Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
  • The Applicant should not be on Professional Probation.
  • Students should have a good academic base.

Alumni Network

University of Texas Medical Branch has a wide network of alumni. More than 2000 alumni are a part of the Alumni Association. An alumni directory is maintained and updated often, so alumni can re-connect with each other. Alumni are offered with facilities like discounts on apartments and housing automotive services, entertainment, fiinancial services, food and restaurants, home and office, hotels and motels, sports and fitness, and many more.
