Ever since its inception in 1984, Goshen College has operated as a private liberal arts college in Indiana. Earlier known as Elkhart Institute of Science, Industry and the Arts, it has earned an affiliation from the Mennonite Church USA. Goshen is a top-tier regional college in the Midwestern United States (as per US News and World Report 2019) and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
Goshen College had an undergraduate enrollment of 950 students with 200 new students (fall 2018) and is open to students from all walks of life. 57% of the students of the college are from a faith other than Mennonites and 8% from other countries. Graced by the motto of “Culture for Service,” the college is situated in the humble town of Goshen and has a lively campus, spread over 135 acres with 19 major buildings and a 1,189-acre natural sanctuary.

The campus of Goshen College is gorgeously spread over 35 acres with 19 major buildings, a natural sanctuary, clubs, theatre, sports centre, and other ensembles. It is classified as a Baccalaureate–Arts & Sciences College by the Carnegie Foundation and all the courses are directly monitored by the foundation. Goshen College offers undergraduate, adult degree and graduate degrees to students in over 50 fields.
