Bob Jones University has a great music education program. Since I wanted to study Voice as well, I looked at the professors here and really got along with them. I enjoy the professionalism but also deep friendships.
The curriculum is challenging but rewarding. They really push you but it's all good material. I have no worries that I won't be able to step into a teaching position and have success from my training here.
The amount of financial aid I received was phenomenal (new rules as of 2017 changed this.) Additionally, my parents are alumni of my university. I also had an extended family located within 3 hours of my school.
The curriculum is well rounded with courses in business, economics, political science, anthropology, and foreign languages. 6 language courses (Spanish, French, or German) are required to graduate from the program.
