Western Colorado University is a public university in Gunnison, Colorado. Gunnison has been known for being the first town on Colorado's western slope to have a college, Colorado State Normal School, which is now called Western Colorado University. Established in 1901 the university was listed in Forbes America’s top colleges of 2019, it’s also one among the top Adventure colleges.
