In the 2019 Fall intake, a total of 2,650 applicants applied to Carroll College, 69% of them were admitted. With the student to faculty ratio being 12 to 1, Carroll College is ranked the best regional college in Western United States for the ninth year in a row. Students enrolled into the pre-medical program have an acceptance rate of 85% in medical schools of the country.

Carroll College International Admissions

Application Requirements :

In order to be considered for admission at Carroll College, international applicants must have a GPA of 2.8 (out of 4.0) and above which means above 40% and above 4 CGPA. 

Also, applicants must submit the following documents :

  • Completed Application form 
  • Exchange student application (in case of non degree exchange students) 
  • Optional -Letter of Recommendation from a Teacher or a Guidance Counsellor (Recommended)
  • Financial Documentation (for F1 and J1 students only)
  • Official Academic Transcripts (submitted via InCRED)

All International applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit English Proficiency Test Results.

Students are required to request the testing agency to submit the scores directly to the college, the school code is 4041.

Visa Process for International Students

As COVID-19 impacts international students and Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)-certified schools, SEVP is yet to provide further information on international travel and visa related processes. For more information, go to US Government Student Visa 

However, the regular process is mentioned below as follows : 

  • International applicants can apply for a student visa to study in the USA right after an application letter is issued. Students whose applications have been approved will be issued the I-20 Form. 
  • The I-20 form can be obtained via FedEx, once the admissions process is completed.

  • Aspirants will be required to submit the following documents while applying for a visa:
    • Valid Passport
    • Visa
    • Proof of Health Insurance/Verification Form
    • I-94
    • Current United States Address and Phone Number
    • Original I-20
    • Receipt of 200 USD for I-901 Fee Payment
  • After the submission of the completed I-20 form and payment of SEVIS fee, students can schedule an interview with the nearest US embassy.

Carroll College Undergraduate Admissions

Carroll College offers over 40 courses in Undergraduate Programs and Pre Professional Programs. These programs are structured in a Core Curriculum. Some of the popular undergraduate programs of the college are Pre-Medical, Nursing, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry and Teaching.

Carroll College Graduate Admissions

Carroll College offers one graduate program in accounting called Master of Accountancy (MACC) which is designed for both full time or part time students including students who are working professionals. 

The college offers several additional programs like internships, ROTC, undergraduate research, honor school programs etc.

  • Evidence of completion of Bachelor degree in Accounting from a US accredited college or in business law, intermediate accounting, managerial finance and many other similar courses.

  • GMAT score of at least 430 or GRE score of at least 270 (tests will be waived of for individuals who have more than 5 years of work experience)
