After appearing for my high school board exams I had begun searching online thoroughly, for US colleges and universities. I especially chose to apply here among several other schools, as this had this unique program on offer. I had applied online and had paid an application fee of around $40. My school had mailed my transcripts to NKU and I had also emailed my passport copy to the school.
My course was not only unique but it was absolutely cutting edge. I got to learn about how a business works and the processes involved in it and also the information systems part of a business through subjects such as - database management systems and business analytics.
Originally I started college at the University of Louisville but chose to transfer my sophomore year due to financial reasons. NKU is far less expensive and the cost of living is much cheaper in this area. NKU also had a reputation for having a good nursing program and being inclusive to all different people.
My school has many options but could be more diverse if the school had more funding. My particular program was excellent during the first two semesters. Intelligent, kind, relatable professors, interesting content. In the 3 semesters following, the quality has declined quite a bit. Few professors care or show the students respect. Half of our courses are meaningless fillers than that 'plan on removing from the curriculum'.
