They had my degree program at an affordable price. I loved the campus and the atmosphere as well. I really want to dual major in marine biology as well and the University of Hawaii is prime for that. It is also a research one school which is what I want to go into.
I absolutely love the layout. Their school is very hands-on and very research-oriented. For me, that is important because I am a hands-on learner and I want to get my degree to work on research so having experience is highly important.
It was considered cheaper with resident tuition. It was also pretty close to home and convenient for me to fly back to visit family. The transfer of credits was easier since I was already part of the University of Hawaii system.
Good format and structure to get us to know basics and then get into the professional portion. A great mix of academic work and clinical rotations so we get a chance to have more hands-on experience. They prepare us well for the real world.
