I was unsure of what school to apply to and the application period for most schools for the fall intake was already closed. But Fairleigh Dickinson does rolling admission and I applied immediately. Due to the school being an American University in Canada, the degree can also be accepted in both the US and Canada.
The course curriculum varies depending on the course you are taking as some courses are easier than others. The curriculum is determined by the instructor and this will vary. I find some course curriculum to be simple while difficult for others.
I opted for this particular college due to their Graduate program connections. They had many joint or accelerated programs that would allow you to bypass your senior year of Undergrad. I also had lots of study abroad options. Diverse student population. Close to the city.
The course curriculum was fair. However, it was not very challenging but contained a lot of busy work. I would have preferred a more flexible course schedule which would have allowed students to explore more courses outside of their major.
I got to know about the university through the consultant in India, the process was simple, I submitted my docs along with some requirements like IELTS, the fees for one course was about 3000 CAD. I applied for 3 other universities in USA. I liked the weather of Vancouver along with the opportunities to do things outside campus.
IELTS score was 7 bands overall. I loved the program since it was a blend of MS plus MBA,class size was about 20 students per course, I had a total of 30 credits. Minimum requirements were about 3 GPA, plus IELTS score of 6.5 with no backlogs. I also loved the different courses they offered since I loved administrative sciences.
