Bethany Lutheran College (BLC), established in 1927, is a private Christian liberal arts college located in the heart of Mankato, Minnesota. It is owned and operated by the Evangelical Lutheran Synod. The 20-hectare campus offers multiple programs including varsity sports programs. BLC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Bethany Lutheran College offers a total of 60 programs offering 26 majors, 25 minors and 9 pre-professional programs. The 20-hectare college operates under the auspices of Evangelical Lutheran Synod, located in south-central Minnesota. The memorial library is one of the attractive centres of the campus where students spend their valuable time to learn and enrich their knowledge.
Over 71% of the full-time students of Bethany Lutheran College live on-campus. It’s five residence halls are Anderson Hall, Edgewood Place, Larson Hall, Gullixson Hall and Teigen Hall. The residential student fee of a standard room is USD 1905 whereas for an apartment it is USD 2155 and unlimited laundry facility at USD 30.

Undergraduate Minor and Major Program
Undergraduate programs of Bethany Lutheran College are of four years duration consisting of minimum 36 credits for major course whereas for minor courses, at least 18 credits are required to be completed. If a student doesn’t want to go for major course, then he/she can apply for minor also.
Number of students enrolled for pre-professional program at BLC are very less. This course helps students for further studies in their respective areas. The popular pre-professional courses are Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Law, Pre-Medicine and Pre-Physical Therapy.

Application deadline for academic scholarship is February 28. On-campus interview required for this scholarship is held on March 28.

Bethany Lutheran College organizes a Golf event for the alumni as well as a homecoming weekend festival where alumni of every age reunites and share their experiences.
