Georgia College & State University (GCSU) admissions are not very selective. The university had an acceptance rate of 78% for 2018 fall admissions. Visa Process

International students must carefully apply for an F1 or J1 visa depending on the nature of their program. Successful completion of the Visa process is a crucial prerequisite for international students. Given below are the steps to obtain a student visa:

  • I-20 forms to be issued by the institution currently attending.
  • Documents required to provide for the i-20 form are-
    • Copy of passport
    • Bank statements
    • Proof of finances
    • Sponsor letter, if any.
  • After completion of i-20 form pay the SEVIS I-901 fee.
  • Applicants then need to apply for F-1 or J-1 visa.

For a successful freshman application, students will have to complete a rigorous College Preparatory Curriculum with a competitive GPA, strong SAT or ACT scores and a well developed personal essay.
