Georgia College & State University (GCSU) admissions are not very selective. The university had an acceptance rate of 78% for 2018 fall admissions. The total number of full-time freshmen applicants was 4,329 out of which 3,367 were offered admission. 1481 of the selected applicants chose to enroll at GCSU. The applicants are informed about the admission decision in the span of 3 weeks.

Note – Most graduate programs follow the priority deadlines given by the university with the exception of the MFA in Creative Writing and Master of Public Administration programs.

There are 32 graduate program and 21 online/hybrid programs provided by the university. Some of the major graduate programs, Masters in Business Administration, Masters in Criminal Justice, Masters in Logistics of Supply Chain Management and Management of Information System are all online.
