Alverno College is a Catholic, Franciscan college especially for women in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, U.S.A. It was established in 1887 and about 1700 students are enrolled in the institute currently.
The college has accreditations from The Higher Learning Commission, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, National Association of Schools of Music and American Music Therapy Association.
It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of Nursing, Business, and Education among others. Alverno College is also a member of NC-SARA (the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements). Alverno College offers undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses. For postgraduate studies both Masters and Doctoral Programs are available. Online degree and classroom courses are there for students.
Alverno College has a 46-acre campus near downtown Milwaukee. The centrally located campus has access to other parts of the city as well. The campus consists of residence halls, classrooms, fitness centre, dining halls and parking among other buildings.
Alverno College provides on-campus housing facilities. There are two residence halls – Austin Hall and Clare Hall. All residents have to sign up for meal plans.
Alverno College accepts online applications. It is currently accepting undergraduate applications for the Fall session. There is no application charge and no application deadline. Students have to apply here.

Alverno College offers scholarships for first-year students who are registered for full-time studies. Alverno Scholarships are awarded based on merit. International students can apply for academic scholarships and alumnae referral scholarships. Academic scholarships have deadlines to apply.
