Additional and Visa Information

  • Candidates are required to submit a mandatory Certification of Finances form. After the submission, I-20 will be issued. Better the financial declaration, more the chances of a smooth visa.
  • All the information that a candidate provides during submission of a certification of finance form is replicated in I-20 so it is advised to fill it carefully.
  • Proof of parent’s employment, tenure, all sources of income and how long the bank account has been existing must be declared.
  • If a candidate looks forward to getting financial aid, they must declare proper documentation.
  • The college only accepts one source of funding and the entire amount in the form of liquid money.
  • The college also needs assurance about adequate funds to afford both college costs and non-college costs (books, travel, personal items, etc.) for every year of study at Monmouth College.
  • After a sufficient declaration, the applicant needs to deposit a 200 USD non- refundable enrollment fee.

Monmouth College is a temperately selective college. They advise students to follow the deadlines and also focus on what majors would they like to choose. The majors make an important part of an application and so applicants must keep in mind the availability of seats.

Essays play an important role too. If an applicant score above average but is not able to express themselves through an essay, the admission process might become challenging.
