In 2017, the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey recorded the acceptance rate of 63%. The graduate school invites applications in the Fall and Spring seasons. Applications for both the seasons are accepted in various rounds. However, international applicants are recommended to apply as early as possible.

International applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need to submit TOEFL or ILETS scores as evidence of English proficiency. The minimum scores required by the institution are given below:

Middlebury Institute offers a variety of programs at the graduate level. Some of the popular courses include MBA, MPA, MA in International Trade & Economic Diplomacy.

Admission Requirements: The applicants must submit the following documents at the time of admission:
Joint BA/MA program: If you have already completed the equivalent of two years of college, you can earn a Joint Bachelor of International Policy/Master of Arts from the Middlebury Institute.
After the student is selected for admission, the college will email the Certificate of Eligibility for a Student Visa (Form I-20 A/B). Once received, all the details should be checked carefully.
