Sotheby's Institute of Art tuition and fees are annually updated depending on the curriculum and field study destinations. The program course work is completed in semesters 1 and 2 for 30 credit hours. This is the minimum required credits for a Graduate Certificate.
For students pursuing a Master’s degree, a thesis or capstone project is required. To get a master’s degree a total of 36 credit hours are a requirement that can be undertaken in the third semester (either independently off-campus or alongside continued coursework on campus).

Students are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 1,500 USD upon acceptance which is applied to the Semester 1 tuition.
Qualified domestic and international students enrolled at Sotheby’s Institute of Art are eligible for partial-tuition scholarships towards full program tuition. The scholarships awarded are based on the student’s need and merit. To be eligible to get financial aid, students are required to submit a Master’s or Graduate Certificate program application. Students will receive the scholarship confirmation along with the admission confirmation.

International students on an F-1 student visa to the USA might have to face some restrictions regarding paid on unpaid work. This also includes the enrollment in the internship elective within the MA curriculum.
