During Fall 2018, 44 international students were admitted to the University coming from across more than 12 countries. University of North Carolina at Pembroke admissions to international students are offered only during Fall and spring semester.   • Applicant must pay SEVIS I-901 fee and the DS-160 visa insurance fee to DHS prior to applying for a visa.

Transfer student Requirements

The University accepts transfer student application from two categories of students and states requirements for both.

  • Transfer students aged below 21 years.
  • Transfer student application must include the following along with transcripts –
    • 4 units of English
    • 4 units of Math ( Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Math beyond Algebra 2)
    • 3 units of science ( Biology, physical science, lab science)
    • 2 units of social studies ( 1 U.S history)
    • 2 units of foreign language

  1. Transfer students aged above 21 years.
