The campus of the University is situated overlooking the beautiful Tygart River Valley in West Virginia. The lush campus of around 170 acres is a home to more than 1,100 students.
There are a number of facilities and resources available on campus to serve students which includes a bookstore, library and on-campus housing. Many social organizations like ACE self defense, black student union, international student organization are created by the students to provide an opportunity to socialize and participate. Along with these, a number of academic, service and religious organizations also co-exist.
The university is a residential institution and prefers that its first-time international applicants hoping to study in the USA must stay on campus. However, candidates can avail both on- and off-campus accommodation options as per their needs and requirements. To assist students with housing, an Office of Residence Life (ORL) has been set up as a part of the Office of Student Affairs.

The plethora of courses offered by the Alderson Broaddus University include 27 bachelor’s degree, 3 master’s degree, 4 associate degree and 34 minors. The majors programs are offered in biology, nursing, business administration, exercise science and criminal justice.
Each course is offered by different college which includes College of Business, College of Education and Music, College of Health, Science, Technology and Mathematics, College of Humanities and Social Sciences and College of Medical Sciences.

International Students are offered a limited opportunities of financial aid available as studentships, work study, student loans, agencies, among others. Though it could be costly to study in the US, the states government however believes that international students should have sufficient funds to support their education, as managing work and studies simultaneously could be difficult. The University, hence, does not allow any student to work off campus.
Students can, however, opt to work on campus in the Sodexo Foodservice. First year students can apply for the job of Residence Assistant or summer jobs on campus. There is a set limit on the amount that students can earn and the university suggests that the money should be used to meet personal expenditure.

The good pass rate for the certification exam of 100% on the PANCE and small class size of 36 students, has a good program reputation for PAs. Gives good courses that apply to the profession including pharmacology, anatomy and medical pathophysiology. They also require didactic clinical rotations that prepare you in the field before clinical rotations the second year.
The course curriculum is challenging but applicable to the profession. It often seems like a busy workload but the classes help prepare you for your clinical and the PANCE to become a good medical provider.
