With an acceptance rate of 60% (undergraduate fall 2018), Concordia University enrolled a total of 5874 students in 2018. It includes 1569 undergraduates, 4305 graduates & 147 law students. Out of 2290 UG applications, only 248 students new students chose to enroll. Concordia offers 25 undergraduate majors with concentrations in more than 20 fields. The College of Education, the College of Theology, Arts & Sciences, and School of Management also offer postgraduate degrees. The university invites applications for fall, spring or summer sessions.

Concordia University International Admissions

Concordia University accepts candidates as an international undergraduate student if they have completed the equivalent of a US secondary school education (approximately 12 years of formal education starting at age six). Applicant must have either an appropriate diploma or statisfactory results on a leaving examination.

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • All the academic records/transcripts from the previously attended institution(s).
  • Adequate health insurance coverage is REQUIRED for all International students enrolled in classes at Concordia University for the duration of the study period.
  • GRE/GMAT exam scores as per program requirement.
  • Proof of English proficiency for non-native English speakers.
  • Letter of recommendation is mandatory.

Visa Process for International Students

  • International applicants will be issued Form I-20 from the university.
  • Applicants will need to provide all the necessary documents.
  • Complete the I-20 and pay the SEVIS I-901 fee (online).
  • Applicants then need to apply for the F-1 or J-1 visa. Schedule and attend the visa interview
