I'm from California and have always wanted to live in Oregon. I was looking for a school in a relatively upbeat and different environment, but also a school with a strong social community. Concordia is well-known for having a strong community, so I came here in hopes to make another home away from home.
I believe the course curriculum is important. Without it, the vast majority of courses would seem directionless because the curriculum provides a general purpose behind taking each class. However, I wish there was less variability in the course curriculum of different classes and schools. Because all schools are different, this variability makes transferring harder, or even pursuing higher education (such as a masters degree) much harder because course content varies so much even when it is meant to be the same course.
