Meredith College Admission Deadlines

The application deadlines, notification dates and deposit deadlines for Fall admission of Undergraduate courses are given below. However, the deadlines for PG courses vary from program to program.

Meredith College International Student Admissions

For International applicants, admission to Meredith is considered based on the school records, grades, scores obtained in the various English Proficiency tests (TOEFL/IELTS) and recommendation letters from an academic teacher and school official. The requirements for admission are given below -

Admission Requirements

  • Official transcripts
    • Transcripts should include details of courses taken, grades or marks obtained and ranks obtained.
    • College/University transcript if the applicant has taken any advanced degree, diploma or education certificate
    • All the transcripts submitted must be translated into English
    • Records should also include details of any national or external exams taken by the student
  • Proof of English Proficiency scores
  • School official recommendation and academic teacher recommendation
  • Departmental requirements include a CV, GRE/GMAT/MAT scores, responses to essay questions, interviews.

English Proficiency Test Score Requirements

The minimum requirements for English proficiency are given below:

Note - TOEFL/IELTS, SAT/ACT scores must be taken within 18 months preceding the date the student wishes to enroll.
Graduate applicants should note that verbal scores in GRE/GMAT scores are also considered for certain disciplines along with the above scores.

Visa Process for International Students

  • I 20 (Certificate of eligibility) will be issued by the college.
  • Admitted students should submit the below documents for the college to issue an I 20:
    • Completed Certificate of Financial Responsibility for International Students form.
    • Bank statements or official letters of a bank on bank letterheads
    • Deposit a nonrefundable amount of $300 before the deadline
  • Upon receiving the I 20 the applicants are responsible for scheduling an appointment with the nearest US consulate for the issuance of F1 visa.
  • Since obtaining an appointment can take 3 months or more in certain consulates, applicants are requested to schedule an appointment well in advance.
  • Applicants will be required again to furnish the original finance documents in the consulate. Hence applicants are requested to obtain duplicates while securing documents to Meredith college.
