I had scholarships if I stayed in state. After moving from CA to NV I had to readjust my whole life plan. I only wanted to go to a 4-year university, and between the University of Nevada Reno and the University of NV Las Vegas, I wanted to experience real weather.
As a history major, I feel like I'm taking classes that don't prepare me for my major other than giving me global background information. I am actually changing my major if possible because I feel I am not learning enough.
I chose this college because it is close to my parents, it offered in-state tuition, and it had many scholarships. It is the cheapest university I could likely attend. It is a beautiful campus. I have friends who attend here as well, and they have some great ways to get involved in the community.
It is usually educational and helps to prepare me for my future career. The lectures are educational and the homework and assignments are also helpful in adding more detail to the content of the lectures.
