University of West had an enrollment of 291 students for Fall 2018. 176 students were enrolled in undergraduate while 151 in graduate program. Admission Requirements for International Students

Completed and signed ESL Application for Admission

  • Official transcripts from highest degree earned
  • Certified english translation of all documents in the original format.
  • Proof of Financial Support
  • Official bank verification, if self-sponsored OR
  • Completed Financial Sponsor Agreement with sponsor’s official bank verification if not self-sponsored
  • Copy of Passport photo page
  • Copy of current visa

International transfer students are required to submit the following additional documents:

  • Copy of most recent form I-20
  • F1 Status Verification form
  • Transfer Release form (after admission)

Visa Process for International Students

International students are required to obtain an F-1 visa for legal stay and study at the University of West. For getting the F-1 Visa, students are required to follow the below given procedure:

  • Get the offer letter along with the I-20 form from the University.
  • Obtain an I-20 issued by the University.
  • Submission of documents to prove applicant is not an illegal immigrant.
  • Submission of Financial Status verification

University of West Undergraduate Admission

Applicants are required to have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 at high school level to be considered for admission in undergraduate programs at the University of West.

University provides a wide range of programs at the graduate level in Comparative Religion, Chaplaincy, Business, Psychology, English and Liberal Arts.

Letters of recommendation should be from either an academic sources, community leaders, employers or clergy source. Personal recommendations from friends and family are not accepted by the University. Since, the university has an open admission policy, applicants satisfying minimum eligibility criteria are accepted for admission.
