Admissions for Spring term takes place on a rolling basis after the fall class been closed and admissions open till the class fills.

Flagler College International Admissions

There are several additional requirements for the international students along with the general requirements which are the same as the US applicants.

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • International form
  • Official transcripts of high school/ secondary school or school leaving certificates.
    • WES evaluated and Josef Silny associate- translations and evaluations
  • Letters of recommendation (recommended).
  • SAT or ACT scores.
  • English proficiency test scores are required for non- native applicants.
  • The essay describing a single event or theme that defines your character has to be submitted.
  • There are various specific departmental requirements as well.

English Proficiency Test Score

International students need to prove their proficiency in English by submitting their TOEFL, IELTS scores. Minimum required scores for admission are given below. However, certain specific departments may have different score requirements.

Applicants can also submit their results, passing scores are secured in English on the GCE, GCSE, IGCSE, BGCSE, CXC, CAPE or IB examinations.

Visa Process for International Students

  • The selected applicants will be issued the I- 20 A- B certificate from the Flagler College.
  • Following documents have to be submitted by the applicants in order to obtain the I- 20 form
    • Proof of financial support
    • International Student Supplemental Form
    • Financial documents which include a current bank statement or bank letter
    • A copy of the biographical page of the passport.
    • First-semester tuition fee has to be paid by the student.
  • After completing the I- 20, applicants have to pay the SEVIS I- 901 fee.
  • Apply for F- 1 visa by completing the DS- 160 visa application.
  • Documents required for completing the DS- 160 visa application are:
    • Passport
    • Travel itinerary
    • International travel history
    • Resume or Curriculum Vitae
    • Letter of admission and invitation obtained from the college
  • Schedule and attend the visa interview by consulting the US embassy in your country

Flagler College Undergraduate Admissions

Flagler College offers undergraduate programs in various fields including Accounting, International Business, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Art History. The basic admission procedure is same for all the courses. However, there may be some specific course requirements as well.

Flagler College is very selective in admitting students. The admissions are conducted not only on the basis of GPA scores but also on the basis of extra-curricular activities, leadership qualities and the overall growth of the applicant. The application decision for early decision application is notified by December 15 and for regular decision application notification is released by March 31.
