Campus

  • The college has 361 acres Waterfront Campus which is near to St. Mary’s City. It is about 70 miles SouthEast of Washington DC.
  • The College has around 100 Clubs and Organizations based on academics, Sports, Multiculturalism, Performance, Service and Social Change.
  • Students can hone their leadership and management skills through the Student Government Association which involves the Student's executive board.

Housing Facilities/Residence

  • Saint Mary’s College residence is divided into two areas: South Campus and North Campus. Students can also apply for off Campus Residence.
  • South Campus Residence is mainly for first-year students and is a Traditional Residence for Students. This halls under it are

    • Dorchester - Residence for 158 Students, All Male

  • The South Campus halls have a recreation room with TV, pool table, Indoor bike room with rooms having standard twin bed, extra-long mattresses, desk, chair, under bed drawers,closet and bathroom and laundry room on each floor.

    • Lewis Quad : Residence for 211 Students;Suite Style; Each Suite has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large common area, Centralized AC and Laundry room; Bedroom furniture includes Standard twin bed, desk, chairs, dresser and closet.
    • Waring Commons - Residence for 336 students; 24 Apartments and 39 Suites; Apartment contains four bedrooms,one bathroom living room and full kitchen.
    • Town Houses - 2 stories, full kitchen, living area, dining room, divided into greens and crescents,common area has trestle tables, couch , coffee table; Bedroom furniture includes twin bed, desk,chair, dresser and closet,

Scholarships/ Financial Aid

Financial aid at Saint Mary’s College of Maryland is given in the form of Grants, Loans , Work Study and scholarships for international students to study in the USA. International Students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships upon admissions. There is no need for an external application. Students need to maintain 3.0 GPA to have the scholarship renewed.

Out of State students are awarded an award package which is based upon Cost of Attendance, Enrollment Status and Expected Family Contribution. It includes St Mary’s Grant - 3,820 USD, Academic Achievement Scholarship - 15000 USD, Federal Pell Grant - 5,920 USD, Federal SEOG grant - 1000 USD, Federal Work study - 1200 USD, Direct Subsidized Loan - 3,500 USD, Direct Unsubsidized loan - 2000 USD and Direct Plus Loan - 9,342 USD.

Trustee , Presidents, Excellence Scholarship and National Award given for outstanding academic achievement, amount: 8000 USD - 18000 USD, GPA - 3.0+,SAT 1 - 1100+, applicant should be in top 15 % of class.
