Programmes, Campus and Residence 

  • Hastings college offers only 2 PG and 1 doctorate level courses. These programmes can be pursued along with other law related degrees undertaken in a different graduate school. The college provides clinical programs helping in experiential learning.
  • The college is within the vicinity of the San Francisco subway. The campuses comprise three major buildings, which include amenities like fitness center, basketball court, skyroom, study spaces, cafe and lounges.
  • Residential center with efficiency of 252 with studio, one and two-bedroom apartments, and two-bedroom penthouse. All students are eligible for campus housing. Apartments are assigned on a first come, first serve basis and charged per unit and not per student basis.

Hastings College of Law Application Process 

  • Application: Application can be made through online mode which is completed with the LSAC. A fee of USD 75 is waived for 2018-2019 application cycle.
  • Application deadline: fall enrollment- April 15, 2019.
  • General requirements: Bachelor’s degree, LSAT score, official transcripts, English language Scores.
  • Additional requirements: Two letters of recommendation, Personal statement, current resume, scholarship application form, passport copy, Insurance documentation, Valid student Visa.

Hastings College of Law Scholarships

  • The Virginia Leary Merit Scholarship

A merit based partial tuition scholarship accessible to students of LLM applying before the priority deadline, March 1.

  • International Scholarship

A need based scholarship available for LLM students as tuition waivers. A preference is given to students applying before the priority deadline, March 1.

  • Thomas Frank Merit Scholarship

A full tuition scholarship available for LLM students. The applications should be submitted by February 1. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic performance.
