I chose Harding University because of the educational atmosphere. I appreciated that the degree will surely multiply my career prospects in the future. I am also getting opportunities to establish a relationship with my professors. For me, smaller class size promotes a better learning environment and a certain ease level.
Genetics, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry are the names of some of the topics taken in the curriculum. For every completion of the topic, I have rewarded four credits. Also, all majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies.
It was close to home and offered the best financial aid package. They also had the programs I was interested in pursuing at the time. I received my BA and MS from this institution during the eight years I attended.
I thought the course curriculum was acceptable, but far too steeped in religion and Christianity to be relevant to real-world situations. Additionally, I feel like it was very basic and surface level without giving students too much information that was relevant to real-life experiences. I think it was a good starting point, but left a lot to be desired.
