I always have had a deep fascination with the technology of computing, and its advancement at such an incredible pace, at the same time we cannot rule out the impact of technology today in any arena of an organization, and more so in a business organization. College of Business and Economics, Lehigh University offers a unique course for undergraduate students like us who want to explore both the world of computing and business, this program is one of a kind and this is the most important reason I joined this college, of course apart from the other facts such as this is an illustrious college with great infrastructure, highly qualified faculty with diverse backgrounds, great learning opportunities followed by internship and placements. I applied online paying an application fee of $70 with SAT and TOEFL test scores, my official transcripts, three letters of recommendation, financial documentation.
The course maintains a fine balance between the knowledge of two distinct fields of computer science and business consisting of topics such as finance, economics, accounting, marketing, management, networking, algorithms, structured programming, algorithms, programming languages, computer architecture, software engineering. Apart from focusing on the core of the two fields, the curriculum put equal emphasis on training and developing skills related to the understanding of business, its functions, and problems, to evaluate information needs of business-user, to design computer-based information systems and the implementation of its solutions in business organizations.
