The College of Saint Rose International Admissions

International applicants are invited to apply for various UG and PG programs offered at the College of Saint Rose. There are specific admission requirements which the international applicants must meet.

Admission Requirements for International Students

English Proficiency Test Score for International Students

International applicants belonging to nonnative English speaking countries are required to demonstrate fluency in the English language. However, the English Language testing requirement is waived for applicants who have previously obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the United States.

Conditional Admissions: Applicants with weaker scores may be eligible for the English as a Second Language Program beginning in the fall, spring or summer term.

Visa Process for International Students

  • International applicants will be issued Form I-20 from the university.
  • Applicants will need to provide the following documents to receive the Form I-20:
    • Submit 300USD non-refundable enrollment deposit.
    • Copy of passport
    • Original Certificate of Finances
    • Proof of financial support
    • Bank statement
    • Sponsor Letter, if applicable
  • Complete the I-20 and pay the SEVIS I-901 fee.
  • Applicants then need to apply for the F-1 or J-1 visa. Submit the form and pay the application fee.
  • Schedule and attend the visa interview

Presently, the College of Saint Rose offers 47 undergraduate courses. The fundamental admission process for all the courses is similar for all undergraduate programs.
