Soka University of America Campus

The campus of this university is spread over 103 acres in the city of southern California. This suburban campus offers a great many facilities for students, including scientific research laboratories, creative art studios, language and culture lab, microbiology lab, Library, Soka instructional garden and aquacultural facility and many others.

Soka University of America Programs

SUA offers a limited number of undergraduate and graduate programs. Some of the most popular majors are Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Each class in the institution has fewer than 20 students.

The degree of B.A. is only available in Liberal Arts, though you can choose a concentration from either of these subjects-Environmental Studies, Humanities International Studies, Life Sciences, or Social & Behavioral Science.

Apart from the basic programs offered by SUA, the institution also offers a couple of special programs for undergraduate students. These courses count towards a master’s degree.

Soka University of America Financial Aid

Financial Aid is also available for international students. The financial aid application form for international undergraduate students and graduate students (form) start from October 1 and the deadlines for the same is February 15 for first-year students and March 2 for continuing students. The documents for financial aid include an official copy of your parent’s income tax return along with the application form.

International students who get accepted in graduate programs are automatically eligible for an academic fee exemption and are not required to pay university tuition and educational enhancement fees. This exemption is not income-based and also does not include admission fees, application fees, and registration fees.

Work while you study

This program allows students to work while they are studying, all the students of this university are eligible to work on campus. But if you want to work off-campus, you must have to take permission from the United States government.
