Visa Process and Additional information

All visa applicants need to have a personal interview at the US Consulate. You must start the visa process 3 months in advance of the university start date. If an international student wants to qualify their F1 visa application then they have to qualify some strict criteria during the visa interview:

  • F1 applicants must have a foreign residence
  • While on your F1 visa, you may only study at Maryland Institute
