  • There are 9 departments in the university that offer a wide variety of programs both at the postgraduate as well as the doctorate level. The programs offered include biomedical science, nursing, medicine, education, and others.
  • Students studying in the university have the access to state of the art research facilities that are either available within the department or associated with The Centre of Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine, The National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health (NCDMPH) and The Murtha Cancer Center (MCC).
  • International Students aren’t provided with accommodation or housing facilities on the campus. However, they are provided with a basic allowance for housing. This is paid every month and the amount is sufficient for the students to rent decent accommodation in the campus neighborhood.

Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences Financial Aids

Medical students are treated as commissioned officers in any one of the four uniformed services that are: Army, Navy, Air Force or Public Health Service. Students with no military background are also eligible for admission. No fees is required to be paid. Students also receive a salary and the benefits of uniformed officer throughout their time at the university, in exchange, they promise to serve for 7 years actively.
