Campus

  • The University of New England has two campuses in Maine – Biddeford & Portland.
  • Biddeford campus is waterfront campus and is spread in 540 acres.
  • Portland campus is spread in 41 acres and includes Art Gallery, Centre for Global Humanities and Maine Women Writers Collection.

Note that the health Insurance for students is mandatory and the cost for 2019-2020 for undergraduates is USD 2,406.

Scholarships/Financial Aid 

International students at University of New England Maine are offered financial aid in the form of grants and scholarships for international students to study in the USA. The students must complete the FAFSA on or before the deadline. About 98% of the freshmen receive financial aid in some form.

Some of the scholarships are AAMIG-RLX Regional Women’s Scholarship, Betty J Fyffe Scholarship, Cec Spence Memorial UNE Country Scholarship, Ella Schroder Indigenous Residential Scholarship, The John and Pauline Moorhead Scholarship etc.

Few awards that an international candidate can avail at the university are as follows:

  • Merit-based scholarships: Amount of 3,000 to 20,000 USD per year is awarded to candidates with spectacular GPA and SAT/ACT scores. It is renewable for up to 4 years if a student continues to maintain an average GPA of 2.5 or more.
  • International Presidential Scholarship: An amount of 15,000 USD per academic year for emtiotoruous students.
  • International Flagship Scholarship: An award for first year undergraduate international applicants who can receive an amount of up to 10,000 USD per year.
