Rhodes College Review
I decided to come to this college to play a sport, specifically field hockey. I chose this school because of its small size. Every student is able to have a close relationship with their professors and know them on a first name basis. The campus is also so gorgeous.
I think the course curriculum is great. There are a wide variety of political science courses offered and each professor contributes insightful and unique aspects to the curriculum. I have really enjoyed taking all of my classes.
I took the SAT. And I received a super score of 1720. I'm not a very good test taker and I think my score was on the lower end of the scores of most admitted students.
As a political science major, I rarely have any tests. Most of my large assignments are papers. However, based on the few tests I have taken I think the exam structure is great. The final exam structure specifically is great.
The faculty of my college is absolutely amazing. They are so devoted to teaching while also so devoted to doing research. Because the class sizes are so small students are able to have close relationships with professors.
The fee structure at Rhodes consists of fall tuition and spring tuition. You pay for your classes and then if you live on campus you pay for your room and board. In addition, you decide to have a meal plan you are charged for that as well.
I lived on campus for my first two years and it was great. However when I moved off campus for my junior and senior years and have really enjoyed having more freedom. That being said, the on-campus housing that is offered to upperclassmen students is great.
Over 80% of all graduates leave Rhodes employed already. The career center at Rhodes is extremely helpful and they offer so many different tutorials on how to perfect your resume, find jobs, prepare for interviews, and so much more.
Yes, I have both scholarships and financial aid. Rhodes is really great at accommodating students and helping them afford tuition? whether it be through scholarship, grants, or loans.
Monthly Expense : $200 - $500
