Fresno State at a Glance

  • Fresno State was close to home and tuition is not as much as other colleges. With my financial aid, all my tuition was paid. Fresno State also offers the Mathematics Integrated Teaching Option. I also liked Fresno State because the dorm rent is fairly economical in my case. I don't pay much and my meal plan is included. I got to know this college by simply googling and calling the college.

  • COURSE CURRICULUM

    The course curriculum is fair.

  • EXAMS

SAT: 1050 ACT: 20. With CSUs, if your GPA is higher than a 3.0 they don't take into consideration of ur SAT or ACT scores so that was good in my case. I was also accepted into the Equal Opportunity Program in which I received a grant for them that has helped me pay for textbooks and my housing rent.

  • EXAMINATION STRUCTURE

The exam structure is different between professors.

  • FACULTY

Some classes are big but most of them are a pretty good size class. Every teacher has a different style of teaching and we as students just have to adapt to that teaching style.

  • FEE STRUCTURE

Fresno State was close to home and tuition is not as much as other colleges. With my financial aid, all my tuition was paid. Fresno State also offers the Mathematics Integrated Teaching Option. • ACCOMMODATION

On-campus Housing I think is the best option. Most of my classes are 5 minutes away from my dorm. My meal plan and extra cash to spend on restaurant or Starbucks is included with the dorm which is a plus. We get $200 a semester to spend on campus. You also don't really need a car. The FAX is free for first-year students and it's much easier to get around.

  • PLACEMENT

    .

  • INTERNSHIP

Our campus offers on-campus jobs but I have yet to experience that. I know that we have a specific website that allows us to see all the jobs available and we can also fill out a general application for most of the jobs. The on campus jobs are super flexible with your class schedule.

  • EVENTS

First-year students were able to attend the first home football game for free and run across the field before game time.

  • SCHOLARSHIP

During my senior year of high school, I applied for FAFSA with the help of my counselor but in college when I reapplied for the year 2020 I had my EOP counselor help me through the process.

  • Monthly Expense : $500 - $1500
