My journey at the Lafeyette college

  • Being a science student, I wanted to pursue my bachelor's studies in the field of neuroscience from the USA. I had been advised for taking up this college by my high-school professor. I was provided with hands-on experience in how I revolutionize the world. W GPA of 8 in my high-school. I had applied to the university through an online common application form along with an application fee of $65.

  • COURSE CURRICULUM

    I get training jointly by the Biology and Psychology departments as a part of the curriculum. The program helped me to understand the nervous systems from a variety of perspectives. Hands-on learning experiences are emphasized through laboratory courses and research experiences. 15-course study in the field helped me to analyze, experience, and communicate my research work.

  • EXAMS

    I wanted to pursue my career in the field of neuroscience as it is an interdisciplinary field exploring the nervous system. I had submitted my English proficiency test scores- IELTS- a score of 9, SAT exam- a score of 1400. Official high school transcripts, letters of recommendation, and financial certificate form were also submitted by me.

  • FEE STRUCTURE

    I had paid around $54500 for my tuition and fees. The matriculation fee was around $750. The activity fee was around $500. The books and supplies had cost me around $1000. I had applied for the Marquis Scholarship at the college. The scholarship covered around $27500 of my tuition and fees. I had applied for financial aid at the time of my application process.

  • ACCOMMODATION

    The on-campus residence facility cost me around $16500. My personal expenses were around $1000. Some of my friends even stayed at residence halls near the college and spent around $18000. The travel expenses were around $1500. The housing facility was really comfortable.

  • PLACEMENT

    I was offered research opportunities in the field by the university. The facilities offered are- on-campus research, off-campus internships, and programs, that required a GPA above 3.25. The alumni volunteers even helped me a lot in getting placements in my field. recruitment fairs, externships, internships, and mentor training were organized to help us.

  • EVENTS

    The college arranges a wide range of events throughout the year to enhance the culture of the college. Some of the events include- art exhibition, clothing donation drop-offs, yoga tone, qualtrics training, and high-performance computing.
