Chadron State College
Life of an international student at Chadron State College
My mother who is an alumnus of Chadron State College wanted me to study in the same college as hers. Thus after completing my schooling, I decided to apply here along with it I applied in two other colleges also. Luckily I got selected at Chadron State College. The college is a great place to live, learn, and grow. Here I am enjoying a great location with many outdoor recreation opportunities.
While studying the course I am getting prepared for the profession in the science discipline. We are articulating the interrelatedness of science, technology, and society. Effective utilization of scientific inquiry and reasoning is being provided to me through the curriculum.
The Biology course will offer me the knowledge, skills, and opportunities in order to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor. To study this course I had to appear for the MCAT and for the TOEFL exams. By scoring 520 in the MCAT exam with an average GPA of 3.8 and 560 marks in the TOEFL exam. I cleared the eligibility criteria of the course.
Being an International Student my per semester fee is $150. Along with the tuition fee I also paid for the Health Insurance, Books and Supplies, and other expenses of around $2,500. The Natural Sciences Department offers almost $25,000 as scholarships to students. Application forms are available at the scholarship department. And I too have applied for it.
