My days at Southwestern Christian University
My elder sister who was studying in the USA had suggested me to pursue my bachelor in business administration from Southwestern Christian University. The admission process was online. I had filled an online application form. There was no application fee paid by me.
My course had delivered me skills of leadership ,management teamwork,and professionalism. I had learned to communicate effectively. The subjects included in my course were business administration,financial management,accounting,marketing ,economics.
I was interested in joining the business administration program to developed management and leadership skills. I had submitted my score of TOEFL which was 101. I had submitted my scorecard of the ACT of 26. I had also submitted the financial aid affidavit, all school official transcripts, affidavit of residency.
The tuition and fee of my program had cost me around $12000.Books and supplies had cost me around $2500. My other expenses had cost me around $3000. I had received financial aid from the college. The total aid awarded had covered up to $9000 of my expenses.
I had stayed at the on-campus housing facility of the university. I had spent around $11000 including meal plans. Living on campus had provided me social, educational and recreational opportunities. Some other students stayed at the homestays and had spent around $15000 including meal plans.
My university had provided good campus placement opportunity to all the students. The online career portal was maintained for us. There were many top employers were being linked with the university. Some of them included-Menards, Accenture, Regis corporation and many more. The average pay packages were up to $30000.
The university had celebrated events regularly throughout the year. The events of the university helped me to connect with other students. And I had also become more confident. Some of the events included-gallery tours, seminars, workshops, and many more fun events.
