Fresno Pacific University
How was my life at Fresno Pacific University
I came to know about this college from one of its online courses of three months that I did after my high school. And after that, I decided to prepare for the bachelor of science at this college and was finally able to get it. The application fee of the college is around $40.
The course is a very computing and algorithm intensive program. It provides opportunity to study software engineering in a technology hub and helps to Network with the best computing professionals in the Central Valley.
The exams that I have given are the SAT and TOEFL. SAT of 1280 for getting admission in any bachelor of science course and TOEFL of 87 is for the certification of English. Apart from that I cleared my high school with a GPA of 9.1 on a scale of 10 and participated in many other different types of competitive exams.
The fee for the course is $35,000 per year. The fee is on the slightly higher side in terms of the content provided but the placement justifies it. Some of the scholarship offered by the University is the President's Scholarship, Dean's scholarship and Paragon scholarship, and many more.
I stay on-campus residence throughout my time at the college. There is a rule that students under 21 years of age will not be permitted to stay in off-campus residence. The cost of living in college is around $12,000 per year without food expenses.
The placement of a student depends on the skills and learning of the students. However, the placement cell brings in great opportunities to the students by bringing great companies for on-campus placement. The placement percentage of college is around 90%.
The events that are celebrated in the college are of various genres. The cultural and fine art events see a lot of dance music and artistic skills of the students. The annual cultural festival and the annual sports day is the main attraction of the year for the students.
