I took admission in Wheelock College because one of my friends who also studies there had suggested it to me.The basic services and academic program offered by the college were also good.I had filled an online application form through their official website.$95 was paid by me as application fee.
The course curriculum of my program was designed in very good way.It had offered me transferrable skills required for the social work.I got involved in lot of social activities while pursuing this program.There were lot of on campus and off campus workshops,seminars. Overall it was a nice program.
I always wanted to work for the social welfare so I thought that this program will helped me a lot.So I joined this program.For getting admission there I had to submit my internet based TOEFL score which was 86 and my score of GRE of 350.I was also required to submitted affidavit for scholarship,evidence of residency,and all academic transcripts.
Many government and non government agencies had visited the college campus during career fairs and provided many jobs and internships.The college had also organized many career events for helping us in finding jobs.
Many events were celebrated by the college.There were many career oriented events,sports activities and social activities.I always participated in them.
I had paid approximately $53000 for the tuition and fee of my program. Books and supplies had cost me around $1500. I had spent around $2000 on other personal expenses. I had availed merit based scholarship from the college which had covered my expenses up to some extent.
The faculty of our department was very knowledgeable and with good experience in their related fields. The professors were great,they truly wanted us to be succeed.They helped me a lot in getting thorough knowledge of my course curriculum.They were very friendly and caring in nature.
I had opted for off campus living.I was provided with singles room.All the facilities offered were really nice.I had spent around $15000 including meal charges for living at there.Off campus living had offered me some good experiences of life.
