East Tennessee State University
ETSU a great pre-med school
They have an excellent pre-medical/health professions programs. Specifically, they have a great pre-pharmacy program. They have additional graduate programs and professional schools to continue my education.
I thought the curriculum well prepared me for any pathway I chose to take in the medical field. It was diverse and I was exposed to a lot of different topics. Overall the curriculum was great and I learned a lot!
Mostly the exams are multiple choice exams and we take them on scantrons. They are timed but some instructors will let you stay longer. Some professors will have true-false questions and fill in the blank but not very often. Lab exams are all fill in the blank though.
They were most helpful. Within the health sciences, they were all very helpful and relatable. However, within the chemistry department, I still had trouble with the teachers because they were mostly foreign and difficult to understand.
We paid the tuition of course and then we also had an undergraduate fee and for health sciences, we also had a fee.
Monthly Expense : $500 - $1500
