APICET Counselling 2027 is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions to MBA and MCA programmes in government, government-aided, and private self-financing colleges across Andhra Pradesh. Step 4: Web Options (Choice Filling)

Once your documents are verified, log in during the web options window to enter your college-course preferences. Select college-course combinations from the full list of participating institutions and arrange them in order of your true preference. Fill at least 15–20 choices to maximise your chances across all rounds. You can save a draft and revise it any number of times before the window closes. Before the deadline, lock your web options — only locked options are processed for allotment. Unlocked or draft options are ignored.

Step 5: Seat Allotment and Reporting

APSCHE’s algorithm assigns seats based on your APICET 2027 rank, category, local area status, and locked web options. The provisional allotment order is published on the counselling portal. Download your allotment order and check the allotted college and course. If satisfied, report to the allotted college within the reporting deadline with all original documents and the tuition fee advance to confirm your admission. Web options (choice filling) is the most important step in APICET 2027 counselling. Your seat allotment depends entirely on your locked preference list, your rank, and seat availability — APSCHE’s system matches you to the highest available option on your list. A poorly ordered or incomplete list directly reduces your chances of getting your preferred college.

Step 1: Log In to the Counselling Portal

• Go to sche.ap.gov.in and click on APICET 2027 Counselling.
• Enter your Hall Ticket Number and password, then complete OTP / CAPTCHA verification.

Step 2: Select Your Programme

• On the dashboard, choose your target programme — MBA or MCA.
• The portal will display only colleges where you are eligible, based on your local area status and category.

Step 3: Browse Available Colleges and Courses

• Use the search filters (district, university affiliation, college type, specialisation / branch) to explore all participating institutions.

Step 4: Build Your Preference List

• Click "Add to Web Options" for each college-course combination you want to include.

Step 5: Save Your Draft

• Click "Save Options" to save a working draft. The draft is fully editable until you lock it.

Step 6: Lock and Submit

• When satisfied, click "Lock Options". A confirmation screen displays your final preference order.
• Confirm the lock — once locked, your list cannot be changed. Download or print the locked web options as a record.

Once you confirm, your locked web options are final for that round and cannot be edited under any circumstance.

The total expenditure for APICET 2027 counselling has two distinct components. The first is the non-refundable processing fee paid online to APSCHE at registration. The second is the tuition fee advance paid directly to the allotted college when you report — this is separate from APSCHE and its refundability depends on when and how you withdraw.

Non-Refundable Processing Fee

The processing fee is charged by APSCHE at counselling registration and is non-refundable in all circumstances — including if you do not receive an allotment, choose to withdraw, or cancel your admission after reporting. Pay this fee only through the official APSCHE payment gateway. Refundable Tuition Fee Advance

If you withdraw after accepting a seat, the seat acceptance fee is not fully refunded — the exact deduction depends on the timing of your withdrawal relative to the APSCHE-notified cut-off dates. Confirm these dates from the official notification before deciding to withdraw.

APICET 2027 Round-Wise Seat Allotment

APICET 2027 counselling seat allotment is conducted in two main rounds followed by an extended/spot round for seats that remain vacant. Each round has its own web options window, allotment date, and reporting deadline. Students who miss a round’s reporting deadline without registering for the next round permanently lose that allotted seat.

In each round, APSCHE’s algorithm scans your locked web options from Position 1 downward and assigns you the first option where a seat is available for your rank and category pool. If Round 1 allots you your 4th preference (because options 1–3 are taken by higher-ranked students), and you re-enter Round 2 web options, the algorithm runs again against the remaining vacant seats — you may get a better option, the same option, or a different one. There is no guarantee of improvement; rank is the sole determinant.

The extended/spot round fills any seats that remain vacant after Rounds 1 and 2. It is typically open to students who registered for counselling but did not receive any allotment in the earlier rounds, and to students who withdrew from their previous allotment. Spot round allotments are final — there is no further round after it. Students allotted in the spot round must report and confirm admission immediately, as no sliding or upgrade provision is available at this stage.

Seat Acceptance, Sliding, and Withdrawal in APICET 2027

After each round’s allotment, you must choose one of four paths. Your decision determines whether your seat is secured, whether you get another shot at a better option, or whether you exit the counselling cycle. Read each option carefully — some decisions are irreversible within a round.

The safest strategy for most students is to report to the Round 1 allotted college (securing a fallback seat) and then register for Round 2 web options to try for an upgrade.
